Aging in Place Housing Needs Assessment

Facilitated a project that set the stage for increasing aging in place housing options in one Georgia County. The project included 1) gathering and analyzing stakeholder input through focus groups, 2) analyzing demographic and housing data (current and projections) to better understand housing needs, 3) analyzing zoning compatibility with the range of housing options needed for older adults to age in place. 

Housing Needs Assessments with Housing Quality Emphasis

Facilitated the collection of data on housing conditions for several small cities in Georgia to aide in local housing planning. These projects included a community-engaged process to gather data on exterior housing conditions. This data was combined with analysis of parcel and Census data to provide insight on housing and demographic characteristics. Each report included a set of housing considerations for each community. 

First-Time Homebuyer Pilot Program Best Practices

Worked with the client to glean best practices and strategies among first-team pilot programs designed to reach underserved groups in rural Minnesota. The project included site visits, interviews, focus groups, and program record analysis to identify strategies for effective program replication.
